AI Detector Review
Affiliate Disclosure
Effective date: October 2026 | Site: AI Detector Review (aidetectorreview.com)
The short version
Some links on this site — typically "Visit [Tool]" buttons on review and comparison pages — are affiliate links. If you click one and subscribe or purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Links that are affiliate links are labeled as such next to the link itself.
What this does not buy
Rankings and scores are not for sale. Commissions never influence:
- which tools we review or how we rank them,
- any score on our scorecards,
- the verdict of any review, or
- which tool we recommend for a given use case.
Our scores and verdicts follow the published method on our Methodology page, and every score links to its evidence (our test, a named public study, or the vendor's own claim). When we have not yet tested something ourselves, we say so.
Which programs we participate in
We participate in affiliate programs of detector vendors we consider worth reviewing, such as (as of October 2026) Originality.ai, and may add others (for example GPTZero or Winston AI). The current list is maintained on this page. A tool being absent from our affiliate programs does not lower its score; a tool being in them does not raise it. We also review tools with no affiliate program at all (for example Turnitin) and link to them plainly.
Why this matters to you
The FTC requires clear disclosure of material connections (16 CFR Part 255, Endorsement Guides). We think it is also simply good reviewing: you deserve to know the financial arrangement behind a recommendation before you trust it. If you prefer to avoid affiliate attribution entirely, search the vendor's name in your search engine of choice and visit their site directly — you will get exactly the same price.
